🦉 Words of Wisdom

Intuition is your innate ability to understand or know something without conscious reasoning. In the simplest terms, it’s our sixth sense—those gut feelings or hunches that often influence our behavior. Some people even consider intuition a superpower (just not those skeptics dismissing intuitive abilities’ worthiness because they can’t be easily measured or quantified).

We’re of the mindset that we all have the innate gift of intuition. Not only that, but there are many ways to cultivate it, strengthen it, and leverage it for good.

🌈 5 Powerful Ways to Cultivate Intuition

1️⃣ Meditation 🧘 Sitting in silence and clearing your mind can make you more aware of how you sense and feel internally about specific people or situations.

2️⃣ Journaling 📝 Keeping a record of your thoughts, feelings, and any intuitive messages you receive can help strengthen your sixth sense.

3️⃣ Spending time outdoors 🌳 Nature has a calming and healing energy, which can help to balance and open your intuitive senses.

4️⃣ Paying attention to your dreams 💤 Your dreams contain valuable messages that can help you to develop and strengthen your sixth sense.

5️⃣ Connecting with your spiritual guides 🌌 Call on your spiritual guides (Guardian Angels, Animal Spirit Guides, Ancestral Spirit Guides, etc.) to help you to develop and strengthen your intuition. You can also use tarot cards, crystals, or other divination tools.

🌙 TL/DR: How to Do Dreamwork

While you’re asleep, your brain continues to process information, and the result is what you see in your dreams. While your dreams may sometimes seem bizarre, they can also hold many meanings or messages. Here’s how to connect dreams to your intuition:

📖 Create a dream journal. It helps to have your dreams written down before you analyze them. Jot details down as soon as you wake up (even in the middle of the night) so they’re fresh in your mind. Having them in a journal will also allow you to reference the details in the future.

🔗 Connect the dream to your life. After writing down the details of your dream, ask yourself what this dream might be trying to tell you and how it might help you make decisions in the future.

💪 Take action. Once you’ve reflected on the dream and the associated questions, act according to what your intuition tells you.

✍️ Journal some more. Writing down your dreams and reflections will help bring clarity and insight into your intuition’s messages.

Sol Bites 🤏

When cultivating your intuition, it’s best to start with something small and in a situation where you have some experience already. But don't rely on intuition to make decisions when . . .

🌪️ You're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or distracted

⚠️ The stakes are high and/or the decision is irreversible

🧩 The decision involves complex or unfamiliar information

In those cases, it’s best to take a step back and analyze the situation objectively. Then, gather data, consult experts, and make decisions logically and systematically.

💡 Words of Wisdom

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
